| Wim Adema werd
opgeleid aan de Academie te Rotterdam als
beeldhouwer; sinds 1997 is hij echter bezig met
fotografie. Via de macrofotografie probeert hij met
allerdaagse vormen in glas tot een nieuwe
fotografische architectuur te komen. Deze kleurfotografie is op z'n mooist in grote formaten van 80 x 120 of 90 x 140 cm en is dan als serie uitermate geschikt voor grote ruimten; prijzen resp. euro 395 tot 1000 voor het grootste formaat. Oplage is altijd maar 5 stuks, behalve de 3-luiken Bovendien heeft de KunstWinkel een catalogus met nog 50 kleurenfoto's die als jpg's kunnen worden gemaild. |

educated at the Academy of Rotterdam as a sculptor.
Since 1997 he has taken up the photography viz.
macro-photography in which medium he tries to create
new color-architecture through manipulation of
simple forms. This photography is at its best when viewed in large dimensions like 80 x 120 or 90 x 120 cm and seen like this these are very impressive in large open spaces like offices.
